What OTC gets rid of indigestion?
Question:
Answers:
first off, make sure it's not acid reflux, prilosec is really good for that and it's now otc, when I used it, it was prescription, tums 2-4 depending on symptoms, and if these don't work.....actually, talk to your PCP first, he may need to refer you to gastrologist..it'll be ok
Other Answers:
I take a drink of milk whenever I get it. Works everytime.
tums, rolaids, pepcid. I think there are more but I dont know. I use tums and that works well. Dont like the tast or texture but they work.
Nausea, heartburn, indigestion, upset stomach, diarrhea. Hey, Pepto Bismol! They have capsules that you can swallow, so you don't have to taste the pink stuff. Alka Seltzer works too, but I think it tastes even worse.
Try pepcid complete. Do you get it all the time or just when you eat certain foods? If you have indigestion frequently talk to your dr, it could be something else.
