Who is for national health care in the U.S.?

Question:
If you are, how would you prevent poor service, lack of doctors, nurses and techs, and enormous waiting lists?

Answers:
I don't think it's possible to have socialized health care without a huge decrease in quality and care. It takes away competition so there is less of an incentive to provide better services and quality.

Other Answers:
Sounds like you would love to pay more taxes.

But we do have a national health care program of sorts already. It's called Medicare. But you have to qualify for it.

You need to look at some European countries, they have national healthcare and they don't have any of the problems you mentioned. If we could have healthcare like say England then it would be better for all.
