I have extreme pain behind my left shoulder blade; thrown shoulder 4 'xs; drs can't find reason for pain..help

Question:
ortho drs say it isn't my shoulder, and md drs throw their hands up and tired of begging for pain pills

Answers:
Yes I have had pain inbetween dislocations. Sometimes it's really bad and other times it doesn't hurt at all. Other times when I'm sitting down my muscle in my left shoulder will spaz or tweak out (not so dramatic though). I might give physical thearapy a try. I told my doctor about my problem too and he was probly thinkin that I was a drugy and wanted some more vicodin!! He didnt help me at all. But hey if you hear anything let me know. Thanks

Sounds like a rotator cuff, either pulled, strained or torn. Whatever you do DO NOT GET IT SURGICALLY REPAIRED. Know several people in worse shape after that surgery.
tissue maybe?
Call a chiropractor and see what they have to say. Is routine for them to have success with patients, who have received no help anywhere else.
Several years ago I had right shoulder pain which had been dx as bursitis and tendonitis. I went through pt and anti-inflammatories, to no avail. Because there was still popping in my shoulder when I moved it at times, it was opted that I would have surgery. Well, low and behold, there was a bone spur which was then determined to have been the cause for the popping. Sometimes a good massage in that area can relieve the pain. Don't become addicted to the pain pills.
how about nerve damage?once i had pain in my shoulder blade for long time and doctors didn't know why, i couldn't even lift my arm above my head. i went to physical therapy and he found out i had nerve damage. in time got better..
seek second opinions. it is now known in the medical community that chronic pain is a real thing even with no knonw midigating factors.
