Don't do it. Some people have even become addicted to laxatives. You should just do it the tried and true way: Eat a balanced diet in moderation and perform exercise.

using laxatives to lose weight means you are anorexic.
I should know cos I am anorexic.
if you take enough of them definately yes!
Yeah sure you can lose weight with them. You can also get to where you can't poop without them. Then you will get where you can't even go if you take 2 boxes, then after that even an enema won't unclog you. You get a fecal impaction and it has to be dug out of your @ss. Sounds like a great plan to me.Have fun!!
Those tablets are for people that are constipated. They do them in chocolate form as well. Try exercising to lose weight instead of torturing your body in this manner.
It is only temporary because your system gets cleaned but it is not meant for long term weightloss.
You can lose weight with anything that will make your body excreet too much. Don't take something that could cause you to end up dehydrating yourself which could lead to something more serious than a few extra pounds.
not a good idea unless you are constipated, go on a diet! its not difficult, using tablets could harm you dreadfully. and no i don't think its true.
yes, because they purge your bowels making sure the food is cleared from your system before it starts to store. The best way to lose weight is to deal with your relationship with food first. Once you have mastered this you can control your size safely and healthily.
In Theory yes minimal weight loss could happen ,although it is only because ExLax or any laxatives induce Diarrhoea, therefore depleting your body's fluid levels.
Its a very dangerous way to lose weight and Id steer clear of it.You'd only put the weight back on once you replenished these fluid levels so its not worth feeling crap for it!
I would assume so. But I would not suggest it. Exlax is obviously for constipation and assisting with a normal bowel routine. I do not suggest an "exlax diet" because you are more than likely going to gain back any weight you lose.
yes you can but DONT they're dangerous you can get to were you depend on them and the only weight your losing is the water and crap. there are tons of healthier ways of loosing weight then taking laxatives.
no, it's not. WHAT is true is that you can ruin your bowels if you become addicted to them cause you're too lazy to exercise and eat right.
You COULD lose some weight on them- but it is not worth the risk. Most of the weight you would lose would be water weight because you would not be giving your large intestine the chance to reabsorb any water (one of its main jobs is to give you nice firm poop by soaking up excess water). So, you could get dehydrated from taking laxatives for weight loss purposes- which can cause a WHOLE lot of other health problems. Also, if you take laxatives more than occasionally, your body becomes dependent of them- meaning you will HAVE to take it just for a normal poop. There are better and healthier ways to lose weight. Everyone knows this but everyone wants a quick fix for weight loss, when there is none (without seriously endangering your health).
what a load of s h i t !
I would not recommend it. I know that dieting and exercise is hard, but if you keep at it it will work in the end. Just do not try to loose weight using laxatives please.
