I have a swollen area on my neck that is getting bigger & has a small black dot in the middle. What is it?

Question: I thought maybe it was a blemish, but I don't ever really get acne, and if I do it's on my face, never on my neck. It's very red, hard and sore with a small black dot in the middle. It seems to be getting larger and more swollen and red. Do you think it's acne or something else like MRSA or a bite?

sounds like an infected ingrown hair, if so it needs popped so you can tweezer out the hair
