Stomach Pains?

Question:
I got SO sick last Thursday (vomiting, etc). I thought it might have been food poisoning. but there is really no way to be sure.

I was sick all day Friday, felt a little better Saturday (but couldn't eat), and am gradually starting to feel better, but cannot seem to kick the stomach pains.

I have tried to not eat things that would irritate it (ex: greasy foods), and have taken tums, but it seems like my stomach churns with everything I eat, leaving me with no appetite.

Any suggestions to stop the stomach pains?

Answers:
Hi! I am an Herbalist and a Reiki practitioner, and I I have quite a bit of experience. What it sounds like to me is that you either have an acid stomach or the beginnings of an ulcer. Along with seeing your physician, I recommend Marshmallow root (soothing and absorbing), Licorice root (if no cardiac problems.if so, then Cinnamon) and Ginger (wonderful for nausea). All are very healing to the stomach, and will really help.and no side effects at all, other than the Licorice root which I mentioned. However, Licorice root is specific for ulcers and acidity so if you can use it I highly recommend it.

Other Answers:
stale soda, chicken broth with white rice
Try some Pepito but I would lay off the food for now. Food poisoning usually 'hits' about 2 hours after you have eaten the bad food. The upset stomach, nausea and vomiting can hang around for a week after the event. When you feel ready to eat try clear liquids only (broth, jello, sprite) and then advance to liquids that are not clear (pudding, cream of wheat). Drink plenty of fluids.water is best, sprite or Gatorade. Hope you feel better soon.
Homeopathic treatment :-
NUX VOMICA 30C half hour before meals, ARSENICUM ALBUM 30C half hour after meals, thrice a day till you are feeling 100% well !
