Should I file a claim?

Question:

I was injured at a night club when I slipped and fell in a puddle of liquid, I am betting it was not water. I dislocated my knee. My inusrance says I need to submit a claim first, but I am not sure what to do? Do I just call the night club? Do I call a lawyer? My inusrance said any third-party would be primary over them?? Anyway I hope someone has some answers.

Answers:
You will most likely need to provide proof that this is where the accident occured ... you should probably notify the night club and speak to the manager ... will also help if you keep a record of what happened and whether there were any witness for eg. if someone helped you etc plus you will need doctors report etc.

The insurance company may be able to help you with what sort of information they will require.
