I had ulnar nerve transposition 2 years ago, and had plaste for 2 weeks. it will take time for the nerve to heal because it is a very long nerve. Maybe you are feeling the discomfort from having the cast on. I know that when I had mine on, I was miserable. Besides the pain where the stitches were, the itching was unbearable. If you have itching, you can ask your doctor for medication the help with that. As soon as the plaster came off, I felt sooo much better. I was lucky. I healed very nicely, but ut took lots and lots of physical therapy before I had any strength back. I also had carpal tunnal surgery done at the same time. I have read that some people didn't have real good results, tho. But for now, I suggest you give it time. If you still have plaster, I'm assuming you just had the surgery. It takes 2-4 months to recover and heal. Having the transposition, mine was the most serious, and invasive, where they actually moved the nerve and I did ok. Best of luck to you
