What is the difference between a Vapouriser and a Humidifier?
Question:
Answers:
A vapouriser usually disperses something like essential oils into the air - a humidifier lets out a fine mist of moisture into the air - keeping the air damp so to speak. Vapouriser can be good for stuff like Olbas Oil or eucylyptus - humidifiers are good if your problem is caused through dry air from heating or something. xx

One starts with a V and the other a H. anything else and i haven't a clue.
yes it will help, and they are both the same thing.
The Vapourisers were the mortal enemies of the Klingons who teamed up with the crew of the SS Enterprise in an early episode of Startrek - The Humidifiers were the subjugated slave race being exploited in an episode of Dr Who - featuring Tom Baker in the title role
They are pretty much the same thing. Your local pharmacist can explain it to you. I believe that you can add Vicks to the vaporizer to help open the lungs. It should help your problem.
A vaporizer spreads small particles of water by warming the water up, this is usually used for chest congestion, the humidifier, spreads cold particles of water and is usually used in upper respiratory problems, epiglotittis. None of them will help you with your sinus problems, cause they are probably secondary to an allergic component of your room, pillow, mattress, cold air, etc. You could use from saline drops for the nose , to otrivine drops, which contain vasoconstrictors that would help, but could not be used for a long period of time, as they can also cause athropy of your nasal mucosa.
