My pulse rate and blood pressure are extremely low; should I worry?

Question:
My average pulse rate is approximately 41 bpm.
The past four times I attempted to measure my blood pressure using both the large pharmacy grade and the personal cuff type measuring devices, the machines were unable to either systolic or diastolic pressure.
In case this is necessary information, I am 17 years old, female, 5'8", 110 lbs.

Answers:
your heartrate is considerably low for a normal healthy adult.

the average healthy range for heartrate is 60-80.

your weight is also another concern-you are about 20-30 pounds under what you should be.

i would definately get seen by your doctor. the blood pressure machines you are using may not have the right size cuff for you ( i have the same problem being that i'm 5"1 and 91 pounds) and it's important to get an accurate result.

things that would warrent an emergency room visit are:
passing out
feelings of dizziness (this includes when moving postions: from sitting to standing, lying to sitting up)
extreme fatigue or sleepiness

all of the above symptoms are signs of hypotension-extreme low blood pressure.

i would call your doctor asap-the fact that your heartrate is so low maybe an indicator of a bigger problem

Other Answers:
Go get checked by your doctor.
Get a doctor or nurse to take your blood pressure, they are mor accurate. With low blood pressure you could faint and be more prone to heart attack
It sounds like it may need to be corrected with medication if the numbers you give are, in fact accurate! I would get in to see a doctor about this right away! You might just have a low salt intake. If your blood pressure gets too low you will simply pass out! But just go get checked out. That's the smartest move at this point!
yes it is very dangerous! Go to your doc. asap also try and gain some weight that might have to do with your low bp
You are considerably underweight. You should see a doctor right away!
Since you're concerned, see a doctor. They are the only ones qualified to advise you on this.
sounds like me and my mom both, your tall and thin, check with your dr though and make sure that its ok for you
Yes you should be worried enough to contact your doctor asap. You can actually go into a coma and die from low blood pressure. We can only give you opinions here but your Dr who have seen you and know you a lot better can give you more appropriate and accurate information.
you need to put on about 15 pounds of lean muscle, so eat lean meats and good whole grains and veggies, once your weight is decent your bp will go up a bit, yes its very low.
You need to ask a doctore who will examine you.
Then in theory you dead cause your blood is not flowing LOL!low blood pressure can me a point of concern. So i suggest you see a doctor on that one. However a low pulse rate can mean 2 thing 1 you are extremly fit and health(this depends if you exercise or not) or 2 it is a result of low blood pressure.Fatigue is also a result of low blood so if you feeling tired alot go to the doctor and get checked out
Go to the doctor now. Mine is so low that most professionals have to take it twice. It has been low all of my life and I am kinda sorta old.
