can somone tell me what doctors generally do during physicals.?

Question:
because i haven't had one in ages and am very forgetful and have no memory of my last one

Answers:
While he/she may look at other things, as well, the doctor will almost certainly:

- Take a complete history for family illness, personal habits, environmental risks that could make you at risk for illness
- Listen to your chest for lung sounds and heart rate
- Look into/at your eyes, ears, nose, and throat to make sure there are no signs of illness
- Check your blood pressure, heart rate, respiration, reflexes, and other vital signs
- Palpate your stomach, neck, and other soft tissue to feel for masses
- Order specific tests like a blood and urine analysis, chest x-rays, electrocardiogram, ultrasound, mammogram, colonoscopy, bone density test...all dependent on your age, gender, ethnicity, and other risk factors
They hold your balls and tell you to cough, then they check your body for arithmias.
