look, all bedwetting meds have nasty side efects to them, and any doctor who gives them to you is a quack. just buy him goodnites and wait for him to out grow it. and dont make it such a big deal.
i don't give medince to children under 12 unless doctor prescribed.
aspirins not until 12. unless baby asp.
Are you insane?! Does it occur to you that a health professional should guide the treatment, if any, not any bozo who feels like writing a response? If you want to get your medical advice from the web, fine, do it. But to submit your child to this idiocy is CHILD ABUSE!
Used for children with ADHD and Tics.but never heard this used for bedwetting. How about a bladder strengthing exercise instead of medications...it worked with my daughter.
if it was prescribed for THEM then by all means give it to them as it give you directions on the label. however if it was not prescribed for them then DO NOT give it to them. all you need to do is give a child something that they end up being allergic to and have to take said child to the emergency room to explain that you medicated them with prescription medication. it's a stupid idea to just give a kid prescription medication that isn't for them.
Forgive me, but are you stupid. You do not go on the Internet and ask God knows who, about giving your 7 year old any type of medication. Surely you have a family doctor, if not for God's sake call and talk to a pharmacist, or call an emergency room and talk to a nurse. Hell I'm a Registered Nurse, and I would by a fool to suggest giving a 7 year old, I know absolutely nothing about, history, allergies, developmental stage, etc. I will not even tell my own brother what to give my nieces. DOCTORS ARE FOR THIS
As far as safe, i don't know... I wouldn't give anything that strong to my children. Bedwetting is something that usually goes away in time. Some kids do it longer than others. My daughter did it every night untill she was about 8 or 9. My son wet the bed maybe 5 times total. My husband on the other hand wet the bed untill he was 12 years old. I wouldn't give a child any meds at all for bed wetting. Some of that stuff the docs give can have bad side effects on a child. Not to mention the affect it could have later on as he or she gets older. I would just make sure your child has only a small sip of something before bed . Make sure he or she goes to the bathroom right before bed and get up and take them right to bathroom as soon as they wake. It will get better soon. :)
Nothing like that is safe to give any kid at any age.your no doctor.your a mother.start being one.just wash the sheet in the morning.this kinda normal for a lot of kid's.They usually grow out of it.Stop making such a big deal out of the whole thing.this is no way to be a good momma.Come on.it's just a little kid, that's only been breathing for 7 short years.no big deal.Hug your kid..kiss the little thing good-nite..tug in the covers..and let the baby go to sleep.Be a momma.
I should tell you that I never gave my child aspirins or any kind of pills. You just set yourself an alarm every two hours and he or she will stop wetting eventually. It will be very hard especially if you go to work. I also know you can cause many complications to your child later on in life. e-mail me and I will let you know in detail.
