I have periodic tingleing and numbness in the left side of my body and back on the right side what could be it

Question: The back pain almost seems like extremely tight muscles that get worse with tension and no pain medication helps. I am not sure if the pain in my back and the numbness and tingling are related, and if not what would be the cause
