Has he gone through allergy testing? If allergies are the cause of the sinus infections he can take the allergy drops at home instead of doing allergy shots. Works for me. Also irrigating the sinus cavities with a warm salt water solution daily helps.

I suffer from severe sinus reactions all the time, year round. I get allergy tests done and shots help too. He prescribed Nasonex which is a nasal spray to help and I use that everyday. If he doesnt go to the doctor it can get worse and might lead to other problems, who knows. But if doesnt like doctors, try claritin which is over the counter and that seems to work fine.
