i am seeing floaters in my field of vision in one eye, what can i do to fix this?

Question:

Answers:
If this is new or if you are suddenly seeing a lot more floaters than usual, I would get to an eye doctor ASAP because it could indicate bleeding in the eye or a retinal tear (especially if there is cloudiness as well). If this is a chronic condition, it may just be a fact of life. We begin to notice floaters in our eyes in our teens or early 20s and these increase as we age. There is no "cure". Normally, these are only slightly annoying and benign, unless, as I mentioned in the first sentence, they represent a dramatic change in our vision. The linked article below gives a good explanation of this phenomenon.

gouge ur eye out then you wont see them ever again!

nothing. they are burst blood vessels in the eye and usually remain for life. eventually your brain will learn to remove them from your sight (it cleverly clocks them out, from the normal viewing field).

I have them, lots of them!

Nothing. I've had floaters all my life and you just look around them. go to an eye doctor. It could be serious..

Sink them..

Please consult an Ophthalmologist. Please check the retina of your eye. URGENT.

If you have black floaters it is a sign of a torn retina My eye guy said nothing to do for them. He was right and they went away after a while.

this sounds like glaucoma and you should see an eye doctor
