Is this normal?

You have quite a few ligaments and tendons in that area. If you were hit hard enough, you may have sprained, strained, or partially torn one of these important connections from bone to muscle tissue. Honestly, if you are still in pain, I would make an appointment with your general physician to get it checked out. Until you are able to get there, remember this simple but effective word..RICE...rest, ice, compression, elevation. This will help ease the pain until you are able to be properly evaluated by a doc.
Good Luck!

Did you ever get this check out by a doctor? Could have had a small fracture and that could still hurt now. I'd get it checked out.
