How do you treat a minor burn!!?

Question:
a few minutes ago i burned myself with hot soup!
it really burns and hurts soooo bad!
i neeed help i've never burned myself like this!
HELP!!

Answers:
let room temp. water flow over the burn, then wrap in a clean white cloth depending on the severity. Do not apply ointments while the burn site is raw because this traps in the heat and it will keep burning under the skin making it worse. If it begins to blister DO NOT pop the blisters and continue to run under water and keep it clean. As it begins to heal go ahead and apply something like neosporin to fight infection and aid in healing.

I am an EMT and that is how I would treat a 1st and or 2nd degree burn. Hope that helps
Cold water, apply ice.
If it blisters, keep it covered and clean, and put antibiotic ointment on to prevent infection.
go to the pharmacy, they carry a great burn cream.
Put it under cold running water NOW!
you need neosporin with pain relief.this is over the counter and will help prevent scarring.if its really bad go to the er.
run cold water over the burn for awhile, then maybe keep a cold pack, or cold hand towel over it. do NOT put ice, butter or anything else directly on it. It might also help to keep it in a bowl of water with ice cubes in it. There is an aerosol pain releiver called Dermoplast that works really well too.
I've burned myself with boiling tea one time in a restaurant. Okay listen please.
1. Rub mayonaise on it. This will help soothe the pain and make your skin cool.
2. Do NOT put water on it. That will make it bubble.
3. After rubbing mayonaise, try wrapping it with toilet paper or something clothy. Don't touch it.
bactine really helps so does antibiotic
