Why are my eyes always cloudy when I wake up in the morning?

Question:
I know that overnight your eyes produce some sort of film or something (I think), but I'm just not very sure exactly what it is or why. So, please tell me, why when I wake up, are my eyes always cloudy?

Answers:
combination of tears (moisture) along with airborne dust. usually it turns to eye boogers but sometimes it stays in there and turns to a milky product.

Other Answers:
Usually caused by dry eye. Your vision should clear within an hour or so. If not, see a doctor.
You drink too much the night before
you might be getting TOO much vitamin A! VIt. A is good for your eye sight but too much of it causes cataract - like effects and can eventually lead to blindness. I think the maximum you can consume is 5000 EU....that's a lot of carrots but if you are taking supplements (and this is how most overdoses happen) then you could potentially be taking over the maximum limit. Good luck!!
