It definitely sounds like a pinched nerve, it would start in your neck, or trapezeis muscles and go down your arm.
I would have it checked out by a DO, (doctor of osteopathy) or if you know of a good kineseologist ( a certain type of chiropractor not the regular type )
You could try advil until you see the doctor. It works better than other over the counter for muscle and nerve stuff. Try icing it or putting a bag of frozen vegetables on it.
