If you are talking about a drug then yes it is very common! It's part of the withdrawl process. Your body is freaking out because it doesnt have what it is used to....like the nicotine, the caffine, the heroine....lol....whatever it is that you were addicted too. And so it lowers your immune system. I quit drinking pop and I was felt like poop for the first 3 days. Now I am over it and really don't want to drink it nemore, now it's too sweet for me. hope this helped.
If its something like smoking, drugs or drinking then yes it is VERY common. Its your body getting rid of the toxins that you've been putting in for years whatever. Stick with it though and feeling sick and poorly doesnt last long - honestly. If it gets too bad then ask for help from your GP - they can prescribe something to help you feel better in the short term.
