Gargle with some warm salt water and take a pain reliever like Tylenol

Chloroseptic (sp?) spray will help but only temporarily. You should see your doctor if it lasts long.

might wanna get that checked out for Strept Throat.

put some pepper into a couple of oz of vinegar. gargle with it. for some reason, it clears your throat and you can talk again.

hot toddies are good if you dont have to go anywhere

If you have had a sore throat for more than 48 hrs, consider seriously seeing a doctor - strep throat can not be cured without antibiotics and can be very dangerous untreated.

For now, try gargling with warm water and salt. 4oz (juice glass) with warm(not hot) water and add in a teaspoon of salt, stir well and gargle. You can do this several times a day.

Go see the doctor....

Gargle warm salt water, it works wonders.
