Science book for children?

Question:
My 7 year old is very curious about how the body works, not just the usual things but how the nerves all work together to make your hands move etc. I have tried explaining but really struggling! Is there a book (with English spellings) that someone could recommend that could explain things simply and clearly?

Answers:
go to dorling kindersley .co .uk and click on the register for free newsletter you will get 25% off straight away and they have an excellent range of fiction and non fiction...........my son just got the dictionary this morning and it is fab (he's 5)
go online Ebay (where else) and get him a copy of the human body. its fantastic..you can do little things, like make the heart beat faster, and slower...and of course you can make skeletons dance..

its very informative and cost less than 5 pounds...
Yes. There are loads.

Below is Human Body which you can get from Amazon:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Human-Body-Martyn-Page/dp/0751335142/sr=1-2/qid=1159348310/ref=sr_1_2/202-8968205-8858267?ie=UTF8&s=books

Though personally I would go for the below book published by Usborne as it's a lot more fun and makes learning easier:
