To summarize it all, what you need is this ounce of prevention. By that, stretch your muscles before your activity that you are undertaking. As well you should go to the gym and to work out on your muscle groups 3 times per week. In other words, one day you exercise, and the following day you rest them, and then the following day you exercise once more. This is the kind of exercise cycle that you should be on. One specific thing that I would also do is swim as much as you can, and to be done daily. I swim daily for 1+1/2 hours non-stop, and my muscles are in tip-top shape. My advice is for you to follow up on a program similar to mine.
