My son has a nose bleed from a head butt, WHY?

Question: My sons head and another kids head collided as they were heading fora seat on the bus. My son says that his nose wasn't hit in any way. So why then is his nose bleeding?

I'm not sure, but when I was hit in the head playing football it made my nose bleed and nothing serious happened, so i dont think you should worry unlessit gets really bad

It could be unrelated or it could evenbe a skull fracture.Get to the A&E ASAP.

it could be that the shockwave caused a blood vessel to burst.
or it could be blood coming from elsewhere, like a broken sinus.
If it doesn't stop soon, have it checked out.
