My ear hurts when there is a lound sound or high pitch. What should I do?

Question:
My ear hurts when I listen to music or anything that is loud. There is a static noise when I hear loud sounds. For example, when I'm driving with the windows down and the street noise with the wind that is blowing in my car starts to make my ear hurt and I the sounds gets distorted/statically (also happens when I listen to music and it's not even loud). Is there a way to fix this? I know I should go see a specialist but currently I have no money to fix this problem and see the doctor. So please someone out there give me some advice! THANK YOU!

Answers:
you have fluid in your ears, go to an ear nose and throat doctor and find out if its serious or if you just need sinus type meds to drain it.
get ear plugs
For a temporary fix use some ear plugs. But not in both ears while driving. And ASAP see your doctor. You could have infection or something as simple as wax build up. Or possibly a damaged ear drum. If you are still in school , ask the nurse about getting a free ear exam. You dont sound like you are in school but you never know on here.
foam ear plugs do wonders around jet engines .try it u might like it..
This could be a sign of beginning hearing loss. So tomorrow look in the yellow pages and find a audiologist. (thats what I did). it's not scary really. If I can do it anyone can,REALLY, and about the money. Use a credit card. or ask if you can make payments. Your health comes first. You might have a small infection. Have someone go in with you, for moral support. For right now if your in pain. Take 2 Ibprophen with a tall glass of water. Now get two cottonballs, and cover them with vicks, and put some vicks around the ear. Stick the vicks cotton balls in ears. That is what my ear doctor told me. Good luck! Please don't worry it might be just a simple problem.
yeah, you should get it checked out. you could use CLEAN ear plugs until you get the money together, but dont wait too long. they have ear drops that can help with infection and pain. there is stuff like colloidal silver too, but you need to have it looked at.
