Why do our stomachs make noises when we're hungry?

I read :

Umbilical hernia. The tissue around the navel is thinner than that in the rest of the abdominal wall, making this area prone to development of a hernia. Umbilical hernia can occur in babies, children and adults (see hernias in children)

and this.

What is an umbilical hernia?

When the fetus is growing and developing during pregnancy, there is a small opening in the abdominal muscles so that the umbilical cord can pass through, connecting the mother to the fetus. After birth, the opening in the abdominal muscles closes as the baby matures. Sometimes, these muscles do not meet and grow together completely, and there is still a small opening present. A loop of intestine can move into the opening between abdominal muscles and cause a hernia.

Umbilical hernias occur:
* more often in African-American babies.
* more often in premature babies.

I do NOT think that in ANY way what happened in the accident caused this - it does not say that anywhere at all so don't blame yourself. It is NOT your fault sweetie - cheer up.. she will be ok and beautiful - it is ok.

Also here is something on treatment for this type of hernia and it says that by age one, many of them close up.. so she will be ok. :)

Umbilical hernia:
By 1 year of age, many umbilical hernias will have closed on their own without needing surgery. Nearly all umbilical hernias will have closed without surgery by age 5.

Placing a coin or strap over the hernia will not fix it.

There are many opinions about when a surgical repair of an umbilical hernia is necessary. In general, if the hernia becomes bigger with age, is not reducible, or is still present after 3, your physician may suggest that the hernia be repaired surgically. Always consult your baby's physician to determine what is best for your child.

During a hernia operation, your baby will be placed under anesthesia. A small incision is made in the umbilicus (belly button). The loop of intestine is placed back into the abdominal cavity. The muscles are then stitched together. Sometimes a piece of meshed material is used to help strengthen the area where the muscles are repaired.

A hernia operation is usually a fairly simple procedure. Otherwise healthy babies who have an umbilical hernia surgically repaired may also be able to go home the same day they have the operation.

Who already has a sunburn?

No one can answer this question with 100% certainty. However, umbilical hernias are not that uncommon, and the overwhelming majority of babies with this condition have no history whatever of intrauterine trauma. I've never seen any cause long term problems and although rarely the odd one (less than 1 in 10) needs surgery, mostly they resolve spontaneously without any treatment by the age of 3 or 4, often sooner.

Many times I have these experiences - brandy is giving me a libido. Is it fine? or do I have another choice?

By law, as a pregnant woman you dont afto wear a seat belt, its been proven to cause damage, to un born babies

i have severe back pain and no health insurance. does anyone know a website where i can order vicodin?

I shouldn't think so, but it would be best to chck with your doctor. Pregnant women do not have to wear seat belts for the reason of possible injury to the unborn. don't worry it is not to serious and lots of babies have them.

No. Umbilical hernias are extremely common. When you see someone with an "outie' bellybutton, that's due to umbilical hernia.

Toe nail about to fall off!?

No. The unborn baby is well protected in the womb. It would take a freakishly tremendous lick to injure the baby. Umbilical hernia's isn't anything uncommon in newborns even at 9 weeks it isn't uncommon.
