What's the best way too deal with aches?

Question:
After playing 3 hours of competitive 13A's contact rugby, I wake up in the morning with stiff and achy shoulders, hips and arms, what's the best way to deal with this?

Answers:
Before you go to bed: Long soak in extremely hot bath w/epsom salt (1-2 handfuls) No epsom salt, you say--a box of baking soda will do. Yes, this will leave you skin dry, so rinse or slather on lotion, or live the itchy dry skin.
Drink lots of water before, during & after the game.
Pot is a good natural pain reliever--not bad for the attitude either. And its much better for your body than alcohol.
A couple aspirin before bed.
Sleep with a heating pad on low.
A massage.
Use progressive relaxation--start at either the head or feet & work your way (mentally) over your muscle groups & "will" them to relax.
Hope this helps
Drink a fifth of v.o.
