Can you get the flu from someone who got the flu from the flu shot?

Question:

Answers:
YES!

People fail to realize that the flu shot is ONE strain that they're being inoculated from. There are several strains going around EVERY year. You can get the shot & still get the flu from someone with a different strain.

I don't get one & should due to my asthma. I'm extremely careful when I come home from being out. I wash my hands with antibacterial soap up to my elbows in warm water for 1 minute. My son sets the kitchen timer & we switch. I don't touch the timer with my bare hands. I use a papertowel to reset it, then a Clorox wipe when we're done. I also use Lysol around the house to kill any germs that may linger. I use the Clorox wipes all over the house, on doorknobs especially. We get our share of colds BUT we're not sick for more than 7 or 8 days start to finish with the cold.

Yes, you can. It doesn't matter where they got it from, the flu is the flu.
It is a farce that you can get the flu from the flu shot. You MAY have a mild reaction afterwards, resembling a mild case of the flu, due to your immune response from the vaccine, but you can't "get the flu" from the vaccine. The ONLY live virus that I know of that was given and ever caused the disease it was supposed to protect you from is the old polio vaccine.
