Has anyone done a candida cleanse?
Question:
Answers:
Have done Yeast Busters three times.
The kit was about $60-70 I think. The food is the bigger expense though..having to buy a lot of fresh foods all the time, along with some new grains I didn't have, and not being able to rely on eating any convenient, cheap carbs. (No products made with flour, nothing with any sugars in it, no dairy, etc.)
The hardest part (besides making myself swallow the nasty concoction) was that the food limitations are so stringent that it's a bit of a social nightmare. I couldn't eat out, I couldn't accept invites to eat at the homes of any friends who had not also done a candida cleanse and understood what I had to avoid, etc.
So, so far I'm not sounding very encouraging. But I will tell you this: I have NEVER been healthier. And that's not just my own sense of well-being..I hard it from people all around me..doctors, friends, neighbours, family, people I barely knew... it was incredible.
I did it for about a month or two each time. My allergies reduced. I slept better. The dark circles under my eyes disappeared. I lost weight. I lost cravings for junk and carbs after the first 1-2 weeks (the cravings can intensify at first, then they go away). I had way more energy, and my energy was more balanced. It's wonderful! I'm actually contemplating doing another yeast-buster cleanse soon.
Good luck.
