Answers:
My mom died when i was 12.. Im 42 now. Ive also lost both grandmothers in one yr. plus i have a sister whos teminally ill from 2 types of cancer.
Yes, it hurts.. yes i still cry for them.. But i also have good memories, and can laugh at the fun times that has happened.
A reason to keep on living ?? Try yourself.. Although things seem bad now.. there really is a light at the end of the tunnel.
Try dating, getting a pet.. ( ihave 2 dogs tht i adore), or get a hobby or travel. Whatever it might help to get your mind off of the negative things that have happened.
Also and i know its easier said than done, try to quit thinking about your dads death, and your son growing up.
If you still feel like all hope is lost, try some grief counseling. My mom died of cancer and now that my sister has cancer, although shes not dead yet, my dad is going through grief counseling to help him cope with the loss when it does come.
Sometimes its good to talk to a professional counselor or therapist to not only get it off your chest, but because alot of them have had similar problems and know and are taught on how to help patients.
Hope this helps.

What is causing your pain?
hang in there chickie theres always something to live for- your son may be 18 but he still needs you, see your doctor about new pain management or just help. sending you a gentle mental hug xxxxxxx I am so sorry that you are suffering so much.
As for your son being 18 now. I am 35 and my Mother is one of my closest friends. You have a lot of time to enjoy your son not only as a son but also as a friend from now on. Don't think that just because he is 18 he could cope without you. and one of the things would mess up his head more than anything would be if you just went off and did something drastic.
I hope you can talk to someone about how you feel and get some stronger painkillers or a better treatment for whatever it is that is wrong.

I have found that helping others is a great way to help with both physical and emotional pain. It's a good way to feel good about yourself and helps you to take a break from your routine. Volunteer, get invloved with a support group. You are definitely not alone! have you tried smoking some Ganja ( marijuana).?
I hear it works wonders to relieve pain.
