Answers:
Pain in the lower left abdominal area most often suggests a problem in the lower colon, where food waste is expelled.

Possible causes include inflammatory bowel disease or an infection in the colon known as diverticulitis.

It may be nothing at all, but it's best that you have it checked out soon.
Gas?
could my a stich or a knotted muscle! Check with the doc!
Gas or gall bladder?
serious answer here: how about going to a doctor?
Sounds like you could be having some serious intestinal trouble! If you're bowel movements have been hard lately, then get to a doctor ASAP!
Only a doctor would know for sure.

could just be inflammed

I had that problem before, don't know if it's what you have,

but I drank Ginger Tea almost everyday for about 2 or 3 months, and replaced pop with pure water, and then it went away.

Ginger tea strengthens the stomach and intestines, so I think my stomach and intestines just had enough of the junk food and not eating enough raw green vegetables, so it hurt.

Now I eat right, raw green vegetables, more water than any other drink.

I'll never go back to the way I ate before

Also I used Prelief, from the drugstore, when I ate acidy food, that really helped until I healed up.

Ok one thing you didn't mention was if you are sexually active. If you are and have had unprotected sex, it could be an ectopic pregnancy. I experienced this several years ago. At first I thought the pain was just gas, then constipation, even assumed it was appendicitis. It got to the point I hurt so bad that I went to the ER. I was scared and found out I was pregnant. I had to have an external and internal sonogram and found that it was indeed an ectopic pregnancy (in the fallopian tubes in case you didnt know what ectopic was). I immediatley went in for surgery, and upon opening me up it had ruptured. This is a serious emergency and should not be taken lightly.
If you are not sexually active, it could be anything from pulled or stretched muscles from doing the crunches to a bowel obstruction. I would not delay in getting it checked out. You can't see whats going on in there and it quite possibly may be very serious. Only way to know for sure, is xrays, bloodwork, CT scans, etc. A doctor can diagnose you more than we can here. We can only give suggestions.
i say go to the dr. it could be ectopic or it could be a cyst on your ovary which both can be extremely painful, if it ruptures you can become septic-(bad infection) I am not sure if the ectopic preg would show up with an EPT, but, it might.
I came across valuable information on causes and home remedies for stomach pain at http://tinyurl.com/l9k9x
I was having pain in the same spot that you mentioned and ended up having to go to the emergency room as the pain was unbearable, they did several tests and found out that i have a 3cm cyst on my ovary. I have an appointment with a gynocologist monday morning, if the pain doesnt subside, i may have to have surgery. Get to your family doctor or gyno.dont mess with the pain, because if its a cyst, putting it off can cause more harm, it could rupture. Hope you feel better!
