Should I put my piercing back in?

Question:
My nose piercing came out today. While I was putting on my shirt one of the fibers got caught on it and I didn't realize this and I pulled out the piercing. I had to get to class, so I didn't have to to try sticking it back in. I think it may be closing, and I was wondering if it is even worth trying to put it back in or is it going to scar/get infected. it has been about 5 hours, and I have attempted to put it back in but it hurts, so I stop. I really don't mind if I can't get it back in again, I am basically wondering if it will affect the skin around it or get infected...

Answers:
If you really don't mind not having the piercing than don't put it back in. The way it sounds this happened yesterday about this time so depending on how old the piercing was to begin with it's already closed up. I have 8 piercings and trust me it's not worth it to try and put the jewerly back in if it causes to much pain. I had a friend pass out and hit her head on a cabinet when she tried to put her belly buttom ring back in after it fell out. It not only hurts when you put it back in but it will be sore for a long time and getting an infection is more likely. I hope everything went well, Good Luck!
go back to where you got it pierced asap and ask them what to do
