As a professional in the hearing healthcare field, DO NOT try holding your nose and blowing, as this could perforate your tympanic membranes (ear drums). With the limited amount of information concerning your situation, like is dizziness or pain present..has there been a sudden change in your hearing ability.are you having any drainage from the ear/ears, it wouldn't be possible to try and diagnose your problem, ( beware of anyone that trys), you just need to see an ENT, AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, especially if you're having pains in your ear, this could be a situation that could get out of hand .
Other Answers:
the most important cause may be impacted wax , which can be easily sucked out by suction machine, ( by ENT doctor). or you can use ear drops to make it soft,
after taking bath , or swimming your problem may increase ,thus supporting this diagnosis, if not then you have to get appontment from doctor to furthur diagnose the case ( audiometry, calorimetry etc).
I think you might be suffering from a fungus infection in your ear canal. Do you pick your ears, or put objects in them because it itches? When i had one my ears felt as if i was under water.try with glycerin drops, they are sold at almost every pharmacy and are cheap, just in case they are just clogged with ear wax. Instill one drop in each ear twice daily for 3 days. If a clog doesn't come out, try buying over the counter antibiotic drops for your ears. You need to go to the Doctor. This is drainage from your sinus. You have an infection and need a heavy dose of Anti-botics.. This can lead to serious issues if not treated.
Make a doctor's appointment, believe me, you dont want an ear infection.
You can buy some kind of numbing ear drops over the counter, or try a few drops of rubbing alcohol in the ear thats bothering you. It drys up extra water and kills any germs or infection. Hope this helps!

my own experience.
It sounds like you may have excessive wax build-up thus causing the vibrations and pulsing sounds. There are products over the counter that may help you with this problem. If that does not solve the problem I would suggest calling an ear specialist and consult with them. It could be impacted earwax. If you some type of instrument to use, that's not dangerous, you can fill it up with warm water and squeeze it into your ear about 6-10 times until it comes out over a sink or bowl.
your vibrating noise is tinnitus. damage to the inner hair cells. usually associated with working in a noisy environment.
your blockage sounds like cerumen.(wax)
i'll recommend Audi Clean, anti bac spray. or see your doc. you need to see him/her for your tinnitus. it could be any other inner ear disorder. without checking we couldn't tell you. you need to take a hearing test also.
sometimes if you lie on your side and have someone drop a few drops of rubbing alcohol in your ear (not a lot), it can dry up moisture in the ear. It may not help in this instance but I have done it when my ears have gotten stopped up after swimming a lot.
