Would you go to the hospital if you were in my shoes?

Answers:
First off, the urethra is a very delecate item, i would be vary wary of a secondary infection, of which i think that you are suffering, if you have access to zythromax, i would take that but only if you are NOT allergic to pennicillian. I belive you have a secondary infection, and this could also be accompanied by a bladder infection, you should have been on antibiotics from the get go for 7-10 days AFTER the passing of the stones to prevent something like this. You doctor should take a urin sample and check for protien, perhaps do a swab. Have you ever had a STD? if you have, this could be a reoccurance brought on by the trama of passing the stones.
Yes, go now!
I would definitley go see another docter.
I would go asap. Before it gets worse.
you should efinitely got to the hospital! if it's hurting you that badly, than you need to go! you could be in a potentially very dangerous situation, and you should see to it that it is taken care of! your kidneys could be affected by the waste that remains in your body, and it could make you very sick!
These symptoms are worthy of a trip to the hospital. If your doctor is unavailable, then someone is on-call for him. Call & find out.
Sometimes after getting kidney stones you can get UTI's (Urinery Tract Infection). The only thing that can get rid of an UTI is antibiotics. If you are worried about money and think you can deal until Monday, then I would go to your doctors office and just see an associate. If not then go to the ER. This probably will not pass but only get worse. Get into the doctor soon.
Good Luck!
JESUS CHRIST!
YOU SHOULD HAVE GONE WEEKS AGO!
KIDNEY STONES CAN BE DEADLY IF UNTREATED!
Well yes ,,,cause your shoes don't fit me,,,LOL,,YOU HAVE MAJOR MEDICAL PROBLEMS,,,so wait for one Dr, or see one of the other MILLON Dr.s in the states,,,,,,,,,,DUH
go now
I would call my doctors office and request a recommendation for another doctor or advise on my current issues.
Emergency rooms are expensive and are often not the best way to get treatment.
Also my heath insurance has a hot line you can call to speak to a RN regarding such issue to get advice. You may want to see if you have such a resource available. If not try doing a quick google search to see if you can gather more information.
THINK I'D GO AND HAVE THIS CHECKED OUT. THERE MUST BE SOME DR. TAKING OVER FOR YOUR DR. GIVE THE OFFICE A CALL AND SEE WHAT THEY SAY OR JUST GO TO THE HOSPITAL.
Go to the emergency room NOW..a kidney stone left in your urethra could be tearing it to shreds, and not being able to fully empty your bladder could cause you all kinds of problems, up to and including full renal failure.
If your doctor is unavailable and does not have a doctor covering fo him, I would DEFINITELY go to the ER
risk it or go to see another doctor or get a second opinion because it sounds as if it could be some more of them still in you;my husband had them and its really not funny;try drinking some cranberry juice and take a tylenol it worked for him;it might stopped the pain;good luck!
Yep. I think you should go to the doctor and tell them your symptoms. It is not unusual to get a urinatry tract infecton after what you have been thru.
Also, You doctor has to have someone on call for him. He cannot just vanish and go out of business.
Call his office number and an answering service should pick up and take your number and a physician who is on call for him will call you back, or they can tell you who is on call for him.
GO the the ER if the doctor does not call you within an hour or so.
I am a RN.
