Get some duck tape and use it to remove the stuff off your arms, ( just like your trying to remove lint) then take a luke warm shower.
You can also use hydro cortisone creme too help with itch.
take a shower
SCRATCH
Oatmeal wash or bath will relieve itching.
I'm assuming it is fiberglass. Use duct tape to pull as much of it off of your skin as possible, changing the tape surface every time to stick it to the skin. Wash afterward with COLD water. Cortizone cream 1% will help with the itching after you have allowed it to air dry. Do not rub with a towel. HOpe this helps. Next time wear long sleeves, a wrap around your neck, eye protectant glasses (goggles), and change as soon as the job is finished.
take a shower or 2 or 3
cold water / shower
shower, soap and water, then Pramegel if needed.
Insulation is made from spun glass. It has tiny shreds of glass embedded in what looks like soft cotton. This is what itches. The best way I have found is to leave arms dry, take a terry cloth towell, and gently rub your arms. The glass will stick to the towell, but you can't get it all. the rest will be gone in a couple of days.
