Thyroid meds and swollen feet?
Question:
Answers:
I guess it would depend on wether or not it's for an over or under active thyroid. I would think that if it's for a over active one, then if you're taking too much, it would slow everything down, and could very possibly give you swollen feet.
Other Answers:
Well the thyroid regulates metabolism, and the parathyroid regulate calcium. yes there is a possibility, but probably your body is producing a lot of wate and the blood is not absorbing all of it. try drinking more water, and exercising. I would also reccommend trying chiropractic, it can help with your thyroid problem.
what med are you on?
i take levothroid and just got a refill. i have the patient advisory.
i would call the doc you never can be to sure. exspecially if you just started taking it.
