how much does an ER doctor normally charge for a broken femur that does not require a cast? (in alabama)?

That sounds pretty normal (outrageous, but normal) to me. I live outside of Washington, D.C. and just went to the ER a couple of months ago. MY ER doctor bill was $850. They will be getting $25 bucks a month from me.
Unfortunately that's probably right. But if you are insured, they won't get that much.
