I damaged my skin through sunburn and it's still affected months later- how can I get it back to normal?
Question:
So my question is- how can I restore this skin to its natural state and get my eyes looking even with my face again? Is there anything medical/herbal that I can do to soothe it back to normal?
To clairfy I don't have fair skin and I don't burn easily or often. Thanks!
Answers:
To be honest i think the best thing to do is wash less and let your skins natural oils do their work , the body has amazing healing powers when it is left to work as it should .
see a dermatologist they now have treatments to scrape the damaged skin off.
Did you keep your sun glasses on all the time - by round the eyes it is talking edge of the eyelids - it stings if it gets in the eyes.
Please see a Doctor. This could be a sign of nasty changes - please don't take the risk.
A dermatologist can probably give you a prognosis on conventional treatment and refer you to the Red Cross to obtain cosmetic help to disguise the problem.
Please don't expose this skin to the sun again. You may have to change your practises on holiday in future I had to get urgent medical treatment for a friend in Spain following a similar episode to yours. I would recommend a visit to your doctor sooner rather than later.he had developed polymorphic photo-sensitivity - a very unpleasant condition.
Please take care of yourself and get a professional opinion quickly :-)
Time will even up the differences in skin tone. If it is affecting you psychologically see a doctor and ask for a referral to a dermatologist.
You should ask your GP to recommend you to a Dermatologist . Then He will tell you what precisely needs to be done
Sun Lotion doesnt give you 100% protection, so there is still a risk of burning. I would check with a doctor, as the eye area is very sensitive, and you may have damaged the delicate tissue. Hopefully, it wont develop into anything too serious, you may end up with a few premature wrinkles though.
