How long does it take a chipped bone to heal?

Question:

I had a football injury two weeks ago, I was basically hit so hard my feet went out from under me and I landed on my hip. I have had a bad case of hemotoma and a little numbness. I went and got this looked at by the doctor and he said the x-rays found a small chipped bone somewhere on my left side. I’m going in tomorrow to get a ct scan, but I wanted to know the average time it takes for something like this to heal. I know that there are a lot of variables that could make my situation different from others, but I just wanted a general idea of how long it would be before I could get back into jiu jitsu class without any worries. I don’t know if this will help at all explaining the situation, but there is no pain from the chip and I don’t have any problem with my mobility.
