Why does air con make me feel light headed?

If it's the same place - like work - get it checked out with facilities manager - couple of months ago we were all feeling light headed in my office and it turned out that sulphur had contaminated the air con.
If it's everywhere maybe you have some kind of allergy and will need to get it checked by a doc
In the meantime looks like you'll be staying warm :-)
If its the same room - like at work it might be freon from the ac unit which is really bad - get it checked. If its every single room with ac that you go into then you is a bender.
Cold area to the head is not good
You should not be getting light headed from A/C unless the system is leaking refrigerant. R-134A can make you dizzy and if inhaled at the proper state it can crystalize your lungs and kill you. If you are indeed experiencing a refrigerant leak in your house you need to shut it off and call a repair man to verify. Open windows and doors that stuff in not good for you brain at all.
The sysytem should be checked out, ask your co workers if they get this feeling too as there could be a problem with the coolant in the system.
