I have muscle pain at my left back (lats). I've tried cold/heat treatment and Alleve/Advil. What next?

Question:

Answers:
Firstly, how long have you had this pain? Secondly, what were you doing that caused this? I find that besides cold/heat treatment, I use motrin. It really helps me. I also try to carefully, emphasize carefully, do back stretcht. Lean forward slowly and to the side. Lastly, try not to make major movement and then rest in combination with cold treatment and motrin. Do no take more motrin than the recommended dosage/day.

Good luck. If nothing works for a "long" time see an MD or a chiropractor.

u should probobly go to a clinic not the hospital or any thing just a clinic or maybe a close freind of urs is a nurse got to them i hope u feel better good luck!

I would go to the Dr. From there they can prescibe you something more potent. Back muscles take a long time to recover, because it is really hard to let them rest completely. You use them all the time for standing, picking things up, breathing, etc.

Try Bayer Back and Pain

Massage Therapy or Chiropractic

diclofenac injections intramuscular alternating days for 10 days and complete bed rest. Are you stretching daily?
You may need to see a physical therapist to obtain proper care!
Good luck! You can apply a hot and cold teraphy. Get a hot pad and put in the area for 5 mins then a cold one.

It always help me out
