BLS vs. BCLS Certification?

Question:

I have a BLS certification for Health Care Providers. But what is the difference between BLS and BCLS? Is there a difference or are they the same thing? I've been searching but can't seem to find an answer. Thanks!

As far as I know they are the same. I think the C stands for cardiac but that's what BLS is also.
I think BCLS was an older acronym.
You might check the American Heart Association as they are one of the groups that offically certifies BLS.
