Is it normal to have pain and weakness in my hand 2 years after carpal tunnel surgery?
Question:
Answers:
Yes, this can happen. Unfortunately carpal tunnel surgery is a barbaric practice as it doesn't fix the problem, it only gets around it. And if you continue to do what caused the pain, it will come back again.
I've written an extensive guide for dealing with carpal tunnel, it's worked for me, and it can help you too.

If this has persisted for two years, yes it's from the surgery and it should have been addressed long ago!
If it's a new or gradual developement, It could be a recurrance of carpal tunnel. See the doctor either way.
Normal? No. Common, unfortunately..yes.
That is one of the chances you take when you have the surgery. They warned me of the same thing and I decided not to have it done. I hear a lot of people say the same thing you have. And more surgery will just make it worse.
I would get that checked out. I had both of my wrists done 22 years ago and it has been great.
