Back/neck sprain?
I was sitting in a chair stretching my arms and neck today when I guess I pulled something just behind my shoulder blade. I had a huge, painful, cramping feeling every time I tried to move my neck, back, or shoulders too much. I took a nap which made it a little better, then took painkillers so hopefully that'll help too. I've got someplace to go tonight so I wish I could just fix it. What happened to my neck exactly and how can I quickly get rid of the pain?
Is there a way to "learn" how to burp?
Answers:
You are having muscle spasms. Oddly enough the fitter you are the more it will hurt because a strong muscle can contract much more.
Use some heat on it, painkillers and see if you can ask someone to massage the area for you.
Bring both your shoulders forward and hold then take them as far back as you can and hold. Repeat throughout the day. This may help to limbers things up.
