You may well have strained a muscle, sprained a ligament or stretched a nerve. All three could cause these symptoms. When you sprain / strain a joint, this sets off a chain of inflammation which will start to make the other muscles ache. If you stretch a nerve, the irritation will spread from the place you damaged it to the other parts of your arm supplied by the same nerve because the brain gets confused by the signals.
It is likely that it will be uncomfortable for a couple of days yet. Take some painkillers appropriate for your age (ibuprofen is probably your best bet) and try to rest your wrist for a while. If it continues to get worse, or if it doesn't get better after the weekend, go and see your GP who will check it out, and may recommend some investigation or come up with a suitable treatment.
go to a doctor..you may have a serious sprain or possible a small fracture in your hand..it needs to be looked at
the best thing to do is go to A&E and get a nurse to look at it, you'll probably have to have a x-ray, i would get it looked at if the pain is still there and getting worse, either way it won't hurt having it looked at, it will put your mind at ease, and if there is any damage they will sort it for you
If you're really worried, you're probably better off going to a doctor than trying to get answers from here - nobody can diagnose it without seeing it!
Check in with the school nurse or a coach who knows athletic medicine. You might need to see a doctor.
No there are lots of nerves in your hand. You could have pinched a nerve or you could have a broken hand or fingers. You need to see your doctor for an x ray.
Helloooo? Go get an xray.
Popsicle sticks.
oh please just call your doctor and stop guessing..if you are an athlete, you need to treat your body properly and that means seeing your doctor when things get hurt..professional athletes do and so should you
I think you may need surgery to correct this. See your doctor.
You MUST go to your Dr or the casualty/emergency room with this.
It will be fine if you get treatment straightaway, but it will need some rest too!
Good luck

definitely sounds like a fracture or nerve damage.
the nerve from your hand does end up in the neck, yes, because from your hand it runs up the arm and it has to attach itself to the spinal cord somewhere. That's why the pain is running up your arm (whether it's nerve/bone/whatever damage).
If it's impairing mobility and is getting worse you should go to the doctor. definitely.
You have a fracture my dear.go to A and E. immediately.
