What is RA?
Question:
Answers:
Rheumatoid Arthritis
Tricky one. If you are not in a flare up the you need to exercise the joints to prevent them stiffening up and the muscles becoming weak. I've been told that swimming is very usful if you can. the water takes some of your weight and relieves stress on your joints. Again if you are not in a flare up some people find heat such as a hot pack helps. You can also try TENS which has no side effects. Try arc.org.uk as a good website
I think that would be rheumatoid arthritis. I could be wrong but I think I remember someone who had this referring to it as RA. Hope this helps.
