call the hospital for a referral...or ask a friend who they see...or ask the dr retireing to reccommend another
I don't live in your area, but I sympathize with you. Last year one son's specialist (a wonderful older doctor) got sick and then dropped off the face of the earth (and I don't mean that as a mean way of saying that he died, we just don't know what happened to him). What we do when we need to find a doctor is we start asking people. LIke at work or at school or in line-ups when people start talking about their health etc. We find that usually in a certain area, one name will always come up, or at least that is what we have found, and that's usually the doctor that you'd want to see. Ask around, get references, and ask questions about returning alls, emergency responses, etc. Good Luck!!!
