What is the mening of slippery slope assited sucide?

Question:

Answers:
Slippery Slope refers to something which can have unintended consequences. Assisted Suicide is the act of a Physician assisting a patient in self termination. Someone is saying that Assisted Suicide is a slippery slope item, if it became legal then possibly there would be people/doctors terminating people who they determined had no cure and so on. Its a tricky subject and will be beaten to death legally.
I believe this refers to Physician Assisted Suicides. This is a very heated debate among the medical field, questioning if it is ethical or not.
Slippery slope is a term used to describe when (usually legislatively) a change in policy (one that has never been done before) is about to happen. So therefor if assisted suicide (euthanasia) is made 'legal' then it is in uncharted territory.
Slippery slope is also used to describe possible unforeseen outcomes.
I think it means that once this is in place, there will start to be less and less control over "legitimate" reasons for it. Opposers would say that eventually it would be used as a way to control the aging and/or terminally ill public who might be a drain on any medical resources that are supplied by tax dollars.
