Help with mystery?

Question:

On Saturday morning I woke up with blood on my hands, around a quarter sized amount on each hand. Over the knuckles. One hand had blood on the top and the other on the bottom. A friend and I looked around for any trace of blood and found nothing, My hands had no cuts, bruises, or scrapes of any kind. My blanket had no blood on the top and only a few tiny drops on the side I was laying on. My pillows were clean too. I sleep with my hands covered by either my pillows or blanket. There wasn't any blood around me either. Any help with it?

=that is really strange and you say you are sure that it was not a nose bleed. If you are on birth control and you skipped a dose your period could have started and when you took it your period stopped. If you are pregnant you may be spotting or you might have had an itch during the night and scratched it. You are not alone cause at times unexplainable things happen to me as well. a nose bleed?!?!

Maybe a nose bleed? Are you somewhere where it's dry right now? (i.e. it's cold outside and you have the furnace on?)
