I work on my feet for eight and a half hours. on cement floors.

It still might just be water weight gain. Check to see if your ankles are kind of swollen. Too much water? Too many diet drinks? You KNOW they make you hold water, don't you? I cut down to ONE cola a day.

ALSO, EVERY DAY, when you get home, and take your shoes off---right away, rub your feet--from your toes down, and get that blood circulating again.

I read where you can put a golf ball on the floor and roll your foot on it--and where the bottom of your foot hurts-you have trouble in that organ(you know, the picture of the bottom of the foot-where massage comes in to the picture)?

MASSAGE THOSE FEET, REGARDLESS!
Better yet, get somebody else to do it for you--ooo,yeahhhhh,..
I would get new shoes and then ice my ankles every night the pain persists after I get home from work. And maybe take ibuprofen or other pain reliever.
Put ice to relieve pain. If symptoms persist, consult a doctor.
Buy one of those special standing mats, you can get them at most any restaurant supply store. You'll see Walmart employees standing on them at the register. I've used them and they help a lot.
just wear comforters on your feet..
You need a cushioned shoe- a good sneaker that has support or a work boot - the shoe salesman could probably help you with a good choice. You need ankle support and cushion because of the cement floor. A good support stocking would also help for circulation and keep you from getting varicose veins.
